Ms. Katy Steklac is a 2013 graduate of Central Michigan University where she earned a bachelor's degree in music education. She is a currently a master's student in instrumental band conducting at the American Band College. She spent three years teaching elementary music and elementary/middle school band at South Canton Scholars Charter Academy in Canton, and currently, she is the Director of Bands at her alma mater, Chelsea Beach Middle School.
