Ann Arbor Huron Director of Bands Robert Ash, is an alumnus of Central Michigan University where he earned degrees in Music Education and Music Theory/Composition. He earned his Masters in Music Composition from The Florida State University.

Mr. Ash’s past appointments have been as the Dir. of Bands at Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, the Dir. of Bands/Choirs at the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills, the Dir. of Bands/Choirs at Pinckney High School, an instructor with the Ann Arbor Pioneer Bands, as well as an instructor at the East Bronx Academy in the Bronx, NY. Mr. Ash is also an active member of the MSBOA having served on the Festival Improvement Committee.
