Carrie Ann Sikkenga-Ledet is in her twenty first year of teaching for West Ottawa Public Schools in Holland, Michigan. During her tenure, Carrie has taught Choir, Band, Orchestra, Theater and Academy courses for West Ottawa and is currently enjoying the fact that she is now teaching the children of her former students! Carrie serves as the JH/MS Repertoire Chair for MSVMA and enjoys connecting and learning from others through positive collaboration. In addition to her teaching duties, Carrie directs the Children´s Chorus for Opera Grand Rapids and serves on the voice faculty for Knollcrest Music Camp at Calvin College in Grand Rapids. Upcoming opera/conducting performances include Puccini´s Turandot with OGR as well as the role of Suzuki in Puccini´s Madame Butterfly with the Kalamazoo Philharmonia/West Michigan Opera Project. Carrie lives in Grand Haven, Michigan with her Husband Shawn and Sons Brock, Brody and Duke.
