The teachers orchestra serve as the string ensemble for the string portion of the MSBOA/MASTA Conducting Symposium during the Pre-conference sessions on Thursday. The rehearsal lab is a chance for string teachers to learn rehearsal techniques, prepare the repertoire for the conducting symposium, and perform great music. The performance by this ensemble is typically on the following Friday evening.
