Description
Rehearsing an orchestra to a high level of performance is hard work. Taking an ensemble the final 10% is the hardest! This session provides practical and creative strategies for lifting your orchestra to the next level of rehearsal and performance. Topics include tuning routines, warm up processes, problem bow techniques, ensemble skill exercises, class community mantras, and personal conductor challenges. Gain fresh ideas to take back and challenge your ensemble from good to GREAT! Members of the GVSU ASTA student chapter will demonstrate as lab ensemble.
