Calling all K-12 music educators! This information session will introduce you to the Young Composers of Michigan (YCM) program, a fantastic opportunity for your students to develop their musical talent and gain recognition for their original work. Do you have students who have made their own music? Whether it is an elementary student who has composed an 8 bar melody, or a high school student composing music for a symphony orchestra, the YCM allows K-12 students to submit their original compositions for review by professional musicians. Selected works may even be showcased at the YCM Annual Concert, a prestigious event that celebrates student achievement.
