So many tech tools, but where to begin? Join us as we explore tools to encourage your students’ creativity through beat-making, audio production, and composition. With notation tools like Flat for Education and Noteflight Learn in conjunction with audio production tools including Soundtrap for Education and OGenPlus, skill development and creativity can flourish side by side. Experience the exciting possibilities for expanding your students’ musical vocabulary, building confidence, and encouraging collaborative relationships across ensembles.

Learning Objective 1
Teachers will understand and identify ways that digital music tools can be integrated into everyday learning activities and assessment through free and inexpensive technology.
Learning Objective 2
Teachers will be able to provide rationale for infusion of technology as a tool for teaching to the 4 C’s: Creatvity, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, plus a 5th: Career Readiness.
Learning Objective 3
Teachers will learn fundamental strategies for engaging students in peer coaching, plus self- and peer-assessment as ways to gather valuable evidence of student learning.
