Description
This workshop is a panel discussion featuring educators with experience ranging from grades 7-Collegiate. Topics include: the process from planning learning outcomes to performance, creative approaches to tuning, technique building, communication within the ensemble, conductor-less or with a conductor, ideas to improve ensemble skills, and creative ideas to engage students in the learning process.

Learning Objective 1
Directors will learn strategies to engage students through questioning (synthesis).
Learning Objective 2
Directors will be offered strategies to vary the daily classroom routine for the purpose of student engagement.
Learning Objective 3
A demonstration group will be onsite to showcase how methods can be applied in a typical public school orchestra setting for applicability.
