Description
Do you feel yourself inching toward the verge of burnout? Or is it more like a racing car with no brakes? The past few years have been difficult for everyone, but perhaps you were even starting to feel the burn prior to the pandemic. In this session, I will share my experience of quitting teaching after 10 years, and what brought me back to the classroom. I will share what I changed in order for me to enjoy teaching again, and how I’ve stayed in the game now for over a quarter of a century. Whether you are slowly feeling the burnout creeping in or you are already there, the 14 tips I will share in this session may help you in your journey. Bouncing back from burnout is not easy, but you, too, can have a long and fulfilling career, learn to find balance in your life, and bring back the joy that drew you to teaching in the beginning.
