Join us for an inclusive and collaborative session designed specifically for women* band directors at all stages of their careers, including pre-service, active, and retired band directors. This session offers a unique opportunity for women band directors to come together, connect, and cultivate a supportive intergenerational community within our state. Facilitated by a panel of women college band directors, this session will delve into pertinent topics relevant to women band directors. Through moderated discussions, the panelists will share insights, experiences, and resources/strategies for navigating the particular challenges faced by women in this field. Participants will be able to engage with the panelists and other attendees, foster meaningful connections, and learn collectively. Whether you're seeking inspiration, guidance, or simply camaraderie, you are welcome in this session. *This event is a woman-focused event that intends an inclusive definition of women. We are welcoming and respectful of women, including trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and anyone who identifies as a woman in a way that is significant to them.
