So, you have made a song with your students, or had a songwriting project that just wrapped up, what happens next? This session will discuss and demonstrate the many ways to celebrate and utilize student work. From World-Premier Concerts, to Sharing Days, to Reverse-Engineered music theory lessons, utilizing student work for classroom teaching is incredibly rewarding and fruitful. We will show the value of student-created work in terms of community engagement, authentic assessment, and real-world music career opportunities. Weather you have been creating music with your students for years, or are thinking of getting started tomorrow, this session will provide you with inspiration, useful tips, and opportunities to promote the creative work of your students.
