The recent wave of legislation limiting content and interactions related to race, history, gender, and sexual orientation in PK-12 schools and higher education is affecting music educators and students all over the US, including in states and districts that are not directly governed by the policies. Come learn how these laws and policies are impacting music curriculum and instruction, music students, and music educators, and explore strategies and resources for maintaining and advancing inclusive, culturally sustaining music instruction PK-12.
