Saturday, January 25, 2025
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM

Description
School-aged students in all communities face countless social, academic, and personal situations. Amidst the challenges of their day, does the moment spent in music class serve to uplift or further burden students? This interactive session will discuss how to focus our intentions during class to build ensemble culture with an environment authentic to both teachers and students. Presenters will share evidence from an observation of a student's typical day and offer examples for the creation and maintenance of a healthy culture.
