Description
A commitment to musical excellence can be developed in any community. In many small or rural districts, the music teacher may be the only person who can expose their students and community to quality musical experiences. This presentation will discuss methods for developing school and community awareness for your program, examples of ways to expose and engage your students with free or low-cost high-quality musical experiences. It will also discuss methods for creating and involving community members in musical experiences which could enrich your school's music program.
