Description

Today’s music educators face ongoing challenges in establishing connections with students. Students present increasingly diverse needs and challenges as society becomes more entrenched in the realm of social media and technology (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, and similar platforms). As a result, directors must continually adapt their rehearsal methods to effectively motivate students. In this session, attendees will explore rehearsal techniques for boosting student engagement. Whether educators seek to invigorate their teaching approach or aim to refine their ensemble’s skills, this session promises to deliver practical tools for success in today’s music education landscape.
