Description
This workshop provides music educators with hands-on experience in Arabic music-making, equipping them with tools to integrate Arabic music into their curricula. Through active participation, educators will gain confidence incorporating Arabic music and considering Arab culture with students. Participants will be provided with a toolkit of resources and materials for teaching Arabic music. No prior experience with Arabic music is required. Yalla, Habibi! Everyone is welcome!

Learning Objective 1
Participants will engage in Arabic music making including singing a rote song in Arabic and performing traditional rhythm patterns.
