Description
This workshop will explore traditional folk music and dance from Scotland. Attendees will learn traditional dances and how to incorporate them into the music classroom. We will examine Scottish rhythms and instrumentation. We will also learn how Scottish folk music and dance made its way to the United States and its influences on American folk music and dance.
