Bass Drum Sound - Heel Down “Feathering” Technique •Hi-Hat Pedal Techniques - Heel Down/Heel Up/Rocking •Controlling The Hi-Hat Cymbals with Sticks •Chart reading—understanding and interpreting articulation marks and drum notation tips for better sight-reading.
Learning Objective 3
This course provides students with a clear method for learning how to count, play, read, and write rhythms in a natural and intuitive way. I believe rhythm and phrasing are essential skills for all musicians, instrumentalist, and vocalist alike, regardless of genre.
