Saturday, January 24, 2026
3:00 PM - 3:45 PM

Description
Wish you knew why general elementary teachers don't always understand how much work it takes to teach music class? Hear it from someone who has been on both sides of the story. I'm an 18 year veteran teacher with 13 years of experience in general elementary education and 5 years of experience in elementary music. In this session, we’ll be looking at elementary behavior management in music and how it differs from the general ed. classroom, motivational factors to consider when teaching music, and communicating with parents.
