Description
Do your students groan when it's time to practice sight-reading? Does your personal lack of sight-reading confidence discourage you from spending time building those skills with your choirs? This session is for you! Utilizing a choir of outstanding middle school students, the speaker will demonstrate tried and true sight-singing teaching methods. The ensemble will replicate what takes place in the sight-reading room at the MSVMA Choral Festival. Tips and tricks for building sight-reading confidence in singers of all ages will be shared.
