TITLE: Live Bluegrass Music with the Louisell Family Band-The Family that Picks Together and How we can embrace lifelong learning and performance as a way to stay connected, challenge ourselves and bring joy to others.
Experience a live performance and conversation with the Louisell Family Band, a multi- generational family of musicians ranging in age from 33 to 72.
Learn how music education played a critical role in their development—both formal and informal—as they discovered the power of learning new instruments later in life. From classical roots to traditional genres, the Louisells have embraced lifelong learning and performance as a way to stay connected, challenge themselves, and bring joy to others.
