Adapted Music Education: Where Do I Begin?

Description
Many music educators receive little training in and, consequently, feel unprepared for teaching students with disabilities. This session will provide recommendations for adapting music instruction to meet the needs of special education students and for structuring the classroom for successful experiences. Attendees will leave with strategies for both self-contained and inclusive classroom settings.
