Hashim completed his undergraduate degree in Agronomy and sustainable production from EARTH university in Costa Rica. His passion and interest in plant breeding led him to partake in an internship at NDSU, with the potato breeding program under Dr. Susie L. Thompson. he is now a masters student with the same program and aims continue the path in academia and obtain a PhD. Hashim hails from Nigeria, and he hopes that his research and expertise can help improve food production and the livelihood of farmers around the world.
