Speaker Bio
Trevor is a PhD student in the Department of Horticulture working under Dr. Yi Wang. His research involves the use of cutting-edge technology to reduce input requirements in potato production. His current project focuses on utilizing hyperspectral remote sensing to improve nutrient management decisions for growers, and his previous projects have used variable rate irrigation systems to explore possibilities surrounding controlled deficit irrigation during the mid- to late-bulking potato growth stages. Before beginning his PhD, he received a BS in plant science at the University of Florida and then began pursuing his masters in Dr. Wang’s lab at UW-Madison.
