Participants will learn about the returning citizen population and hear the housing needs and resources for returning citizens. Returning citizens will share their stories and provide some myth busting. Safe & Just Michigan will share its efforts to serve returning citizens while Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) will share about housing available to people on MDOC Parole through its Offender Success program. MDOC will let the audience know how to access services and get involved with OS. Finally, the session will contain a moderated discussion for participants to ask questions of the panel.
