Fresh Eyes on an Old Problem: How Artists Helping the Homeless Built Success from Taking a Big Picture Approach
Description

The provision of services to homeless clients is challenging on many fronts. Efforts to provide rapid rehousing and client centered approaches often are impeded by various conditions of grants and the larger regulatory environment, as well as the resource strains faced by nearly every organization. In this talk, Kar Woo and Jason Wasserman will elaborate some of these challenges and the innovative approaches developed by Artists Helping the Homeless in Kansas City.
