Jaimie Hutchison
Jaimie Hutchison is the Director of the MSU WorkLife Office. She is a leader in supporting employees across an array of work-life related issues focusing on supporting families, program management, workplace wellbeing, affinity groups, career transitions, work-life fit, professional development, and community connections.
Jaimie’s diverse work experiences have prepared her for focusing on the wide array of needs that employees have through their multiple roles as employees, family members, and individuals. Jaimie's experience as a military spouse allowed her to work for several educational, government, higher education, and non-profit organizations in California, Montana, Colorado and Michigan.
Jaimie is currently serving a three-year term on the CUWFA (College and University Work Family Association) Board of Directors and is co-chairing the Membership Engagement Committee. CUWFA’s mission is to provide leadership in facilitating the integration of work and study with family/personal life at institutions of higher learning. The mission supports the broader goals of creating a healthy and productive environment throughout the lifespan and enhancing the work-life effectiveness of employees.

Jaimie is an active volunteer in her community. She has volunteered an estimated 10,000 hours in her community. Jaimie holds a BA in Psychology from Michigan State University, a MA in Community Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Post Masters Certificate in School Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed school counselor (SCL) in the state of Michigan and holds a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification.
