LJ Sarten, CTRS, (he/him) is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation before continuing on to pursue his Master of Social Work. Prior to joining Ozone House in the fall of 2019, LJ spent twenty years working with and advocating for individuals with disabilities. As the Youth Resource Coordinator at Ozone House, LJ now works with youth at-risk of running away or becoming homeless. Additionally, LJ provides support to LGBTQ+ youth by overseeing Ozone’s social support group, Pridezone. Knowing that visibility saves lives, LJ lives his life as an out and visible queer transgender man.
