Allison Combs is currently the Head of Product – Payer Clinical Effectiveness at Wolters Kluwer, Health, where she is responsible for growing the payer franchise by increasing current product market fit as well as developing new products.
With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Allison joined Wolters Kluwer from Optum, where she most recently was the Senior Director of Product Strategy for the OptumInsight Payer Portfolio. She previously was the Senior Director of OptumRx New Product Development for External (non-UHC) Health Plans.
Prior to Optum, Allison was the Director of Commercial Pharmacy Business Performance and Insights at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network as part of over 10 years of strategic planning and execution experience at the Corporate, Divisional, and Business Unit levels.
She also has over 10 years of experience in biological and applied research. She is a member of the International Association for Strategy Professionals and is an advocate of math, science, and leadership development for children through Girl Scouts and other organizations.
Allison has a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Science from the University of Michigan and a Master's of Science from Eastern Michigan University.
