Mariam Deland

Mariam DeLand is an LMSW with a background in juvenile justice, prison-based mental health services, reentry services, and project management. Ms. DeLand earned a Bachelor of Art in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Adrian College. She spent the next decade working in juvenile residential facilities. She earned her MSW from The University of Michigan School of Social Work and became a therapist in a prison-based residential mental health treatment program. Currently, she works for Manager of Reentry Services for MDOC, overseeing contractors who administer the OS Reentry program statewide. Ms. DeLand values the opportunity to improve society by giving people the tools they need to build a life in the community after incarceration.
