Organizations today are not struggling to create strategy; they are struggling to execute strategy fast enough to matter while navigating the internal transformation required to do so. In environments defined by uncertainty, competing priorities, and constant change, momentum is often lost not because of a lack of ambition, but because leaders are unclear about what they most need to learn, monitor, and decide. This workshop introduces Key Performance Questions (KPQs) as a practical and underutilized discipline for sustaining momentum during periods of transformation. Rather than starting with measures or dashboards, KPQs help leaders clarify the critical questions that must be answered to determine whether strategic execution is truly advancing transformation—or quietly stalling. Participants will explore how KPQs: -Create momentum, focus, and alignment during complex transformation efforts -Bridge the gap between strategic intent and day-to-day execution -Enable faster learning, better decision-making, and adaptive strategy management -Prevent metric overload while strengthening execution discipline Through a combination of short instruction, facilitated discussion, and hands-on application, participants will practice crafting high-quality KPQs and linking them to execution priorities. Real-world examples will illustrate how KPQs can be used post-launch to sustain momentum, surface risks early, and guide leadership attention where it matters most. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how KPQs differ from KPIs, when and how to use them during transformation, and a practical framework they can immediately apply to strengthen execution and maintain momentum in their own organizations.
