Dr. John C. Reynolds is a recently retired college president, strategist, and organizational advisor with more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and international development. He currently consults with and advises C-suite leaders on the challenges of leading in the midst of constant disruption.
With a background spanning tertiary education, the mining sector, and one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations, World Vision International, Dr. Reynolds brings a rare cross-industry perspective on capacity building, strategic planning, and governance. He has worked in more than 80 countries, advising national NGOs, global ministries, universities, and executive leadership teams on sustainable impact, growth strategy/impact, and mission alignment.
Dr. Reynolds serves on multiple international boards, including LCC International University (Lithuania), Azusa Pacific Educational Foundation (South Africa), Tabor College (Australia), and BDI (USA). His academic contributions include graduate-level teaching and research in organization strategy, governance, identity theory, and change management.
Born and educated in South Africa and residing in the United States since 1991, Dr. Reynolds holds degrees in computer science, management information systems, business, and a PhD in Higher Education. He is widely recognized for his engaging communication style, systems-level thinking, and ability to equip organizations to lead with clarity, purpose, and strategic resilience in a rapidly changing world.
