Trish Taino has more than 26 years of multi-sector experience across manufacturing, national security and defense. She serves as Principal for Strategy Development and Innovation with Honeywell FM&T at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Kansas City National Security Campus. As a hands-on strategy leader and practitioner, she advises and enables executives and leaders in strategy development and deployment across a variety of portfolios.
Prior to KCNSC, Trish was a federal civil servant with tours in Asia and Europe as a U.S. diplomat. She also deployed with coalition military units serving on the front lines. Her efforts were recognized by the National Security Exceptional Achievement Medal, Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service, and Defense Enterprise Officer of the Year. Prior to international affairs work, she was an Industrial Engineer at L3Harris and Kinetic Concepts Inc.
Trish’s experience accelerating value creation in high-consequence missions equipped her to provide strategy value at KCNSC and beyond. She provides strategy oversight and governance support as a board member to various organizations and co-chairs a strategy community of practice across 18 national assets. Trish holds Strategic Planning Professional (SPP) and Strategic Foresight Professional (SFP) certifications, a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, and MBA.
