Jean-François (JF) Bouffard is the Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), where he serves as the primary interface between the Board of Governors, President & CEO Laura Jo Gunter, and the institute’s senior leadership team. In this role, he leads organizational environmental scanning, strategy development, and the implementation and governance of NAIT’s institutional OKR framework.
A systems thinker with deep expertise in strategy and board governance, JF has played a pivotal role in shaping NAIT’s strategic priorities and designing key elements of Project RISE, the institution’s multi-year transformation initiative. His work focuses on enabling clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution across a complex polytechnic environment.
Outside of work, JF is a proud father and outdoors enthusiast and can usually be found spending time with his equally opinionated dogs.
