2027 Call for Proposals
The 2027 Building Michigan Communities Conference (BMCC) returns to the Lansing Center on May 11 - 12, 2027, and we need your expertise to deliver the biggest and best affordable housing event possible.
BMCC brings together more than 1,200 housing financiers, developers, asset managers, homeless service providers, elected and public officials, and policymakers to explore innovative solutions to tackle housing challenges and build stronger communities.
We’re seeking innovative, thought-provoking proposals for 60-minute sessions that deliver meaningful and actionable takeaways for attendees.
Proposals should align with one or more of the five topical tracks being offered at BMCC 2027:
- Asset Management
- Community & Economic Development
- Homeownership Finance & Development
- Preventing and Ending Homelessness
- Rental Finance & Development
Proposals will be accepted through Friday, October 16, 2026. Notifications will be made by Tuesday, December 8, 2026.
