Through our strong partnership with The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), MSHDA's Housing Education Program (HEP) financially supports a network of HUD Housing Counseling Agencies to provide a wide range of Housing Counseling services for Michigan Residents. Whether it's preventing foreclosure, rental counseling, disaster relief services or financial literacy, HUD counselors are there to ensure housing stability. By the end of this session, participants will be able to define housing counseling, describe the benefits and explain how to participate in the program.
