This training will provide an opportunity for participants to understand a framework for designing homes that are comfortable, attractive, livable for all people, and great for the health of communities. Attendees will learn the foundations of universal design and learn of ways to create homes that are functional for families today and as they age. ZeroStep is one way to spread the impact of this learning to all. In short it is all about LIVABILITY! Attendees will see examples of ZeroStep features in homes. They will learn the cost effectiveness of universal design and ZeroStep principles. Together we will tackle common misconceptions and show that accessible design is not as difficult or expensive and many people think.
