                                                    Krista Trout-Edwards joined the Calhoun County Land Bank Authority (CCLBA) staff in 2011 as part of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP2) team and was appointed as Executive Director in 2013.  She helped develop the CCLBA’s mission, as well as created the framework for its efforts in community stabilization and revitalization.  Krista works to promote the mission by partnering with local municipalities and seeks to promote a broader community vision for stabilization and land reuse activities.  She leads efforts to fund the activities of the CCLBA through grant applications and funding requests at the state level.  Krista has brought equity and equality principles to the CCLBA’s work to ensure the organization creates inclusive opportunities and is an agent for change. She has twenty-five years of experience, served as past Vice Chair and Chair of the Michigan Association of Land Banks, past Co-Chair of Calhoun County’s Employee Innovation Committee.  Krista holds a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan in Urban and Regional Planning.
