Dr. David Bryla is a Research Horticulturist at the USDA-ARS Horticultural Crops Research Unit in Corvallis, Oregon. He has been with the Hort Crops Unit since 2003, conducting research on various berry crops, including blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry.
He is primarily working on ways to improve water and nutrient management of these crops and is investigating practices such as irrigation, fertigation, frost protection, and evaporative cooling.
