Jason Ihnat is an active teacher, performer, composer, and arranger. He is a lecturer of music theory and composition at Eastern Michigan University and the percussion arranger/ instructor for the EMU Marching Band. Mr. Ihnat performs frequently with the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestras as well as the Michigan Philharmonic. He has taught percussion lessons and ensembles for the more than two decades in the Novi and L’Anse Creuse school districts. He is also active with Drum Corps International, currently serving as the Percussion Coordinator for the Boston Crusader’s Front Ensemble. Jason is a Yamaha Performing Artist, and a Zildjian / Vic Firth Education Artist.
