Ariam is a trained City Planner deeply passionate about equitable community development and sustainable land use policy. For the last decade, her work has focused on executing community-led land-use interventions, leading civic engagement programs for vacant land justice, and using mapping and statistics to equip partner communities in their mission to improve the socio-economic health of their neighborhoods. Ariam holds a Master of City Planning from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia.
