Greg Thompson is the Project Manager under the Institute for the Development of African American Youth (IDAAY) for “Same Day Work & Pay” a program that is administered by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. The purpose of the program is to hire individuals daily to clean identified corridors throughout Philadelphia. In addition, Mr. Thompson directs the Community Landcare Project a program to maintain vacant lots in Southwest Philadelphia. He is, in conjunction with the above-mentioned programs, the Lead Trainer for the Same Day Work & Pay Program and the Director of Case Management for the Roots to Re-Entry Bootcamp.
Mr. Thompson professional affiliations include the Philadelphia District Attorney Office, the US Marshall Service (Philadelphia Field Office), School District of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Police Department, the Institute for the Development of African American Youth (IDAAY), Philadelphia City Council, PA State Senate, and many local organizations in the Tri-State area.
