Daniel Word is currently an assistant director for the Austin Code Department and has worked for the City of Austin since 2006. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas State University-San Marcos as well as the Zoning Inspector and Residential Building Inspector certifications from the International Code Council, along with being a registered Code Enforcement Officer in the State of Texas.
