Elisha Sanders is an Acquisitions Specialist at Cook County Land Bank Authority (CCLBA), responsible for evaluating, acquiring and disposing of property for the CCLBA. Also, is the lead for acquiring donations. Elisha has over 15 years of banking experience in corporate and commercial (investment) banking. Elisha has worked with major and community banks in various roles throughout the loan cycle—originations, monitoring performing and non-performing loans, foreclosures along with the acquisitions of bank owned property. Elisha strong real estate background, interpersonal skills and knowledge of the community is invaluable in helping make a positive impact on ensuring community development is a priority. She also possesses a passion for providing value to the community. Elisha holds a B.A. in Business Management from Robert Morris University, experience in Grant Writing and she is in the planning stages of acquiring a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Elisha is currently the 3rd Vice President of the Realist Women’s Council of Illinois and a life time supporter/volunteer of Jackie Robinson West Little League Baseball. Also, a strong advocate of working the community and volunteering when not spending time with family and friends.
