Lindsay Woodson, AICP is a Program Manager at the Bloomberg Center for Cities, where she supports the design and implementation of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative’s City Hall Fellowship program, a unique new 2-year fellowship that places recent master’s graduates in city halls around the U.S. She is an urban planner with particular expertise in environmental and neighborhood planning. As a Cleveland Ohio native, she is drawn toward working in small- and medium-sized cities and with vulnerable populations. She is excited by work that requires participation from dynamic stakeholder groups, addresses urban challenges through an emphasis on process, and builds strategies that foster innovation in governance to deliver positive social outcomes.
Woodson has also spent time at different levels of government, including federal and state, supporting her belief that designers should have a seat at the policy table. Woodson completed a dual degree, a Master of Design in Risk & Resilience, and Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Geography from Syracuse University, School of Architecture.
