Lynn Hendges

Lynn Hendges, Manager of MDHHS-Housing and Homeless Services Division, oversees a 14 member staff and grant programs including Permanent Supportive Housing, Rapid Rehousing, Emergency Shelter, PATH, SOAR, HOPWA and Homeless and Runaway Youth. She has been a leader in partnering with the State Innovation Model to implement data sharing, grants focusing on improving the homeless response system, and an emergency department frequent user pilot program. She has also taken a leadership role in coordinating COVID 19 response in homeless shelters across the state. Lynn is a member of the Michigan Homeless Policy Council and a leader in developing the Campaign to End Homelessness strategic plan. Lynn has held previous leadership positions with Michigan’s Veteran Affairs and the Coalition Against Homelessness. Lynn received her MSW from Michigan State University.
