Whether you’re sharing lived experience, facilitating difficult conversations, leading training, or presenting to community partners, effective communication begins with presence not perfection. This trauma-informed workshop uses (optional) accessible warm-ups, low-stakes activities, and intentional breathwork to prepare the body, voice and mind while reducing anxiety. Participants will learn retrievable and repeatable steps for practice, techniques for reading the room and adapting to diverse audiences and spaces, and strategies for shifting from performance to authentic connection. Participants will leave with practical tools to communicate with confidence, care and purpose while fostering meaningful engagement in homelessness response and systems change.
