Description

The 2020 COVID-19 relief package included $25 billion in Emergency Rental Assistance and gave states, cities, and territories flexibility for how they could operate rental assistance programs. The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is conducting ongoing research on these rental assistance programs across the country. Join us to learn about the findings from their recently published report that includes key policy and program considerations. Also joining this session will be a local organization managing a rental assistance program in Michigan. The goal of this dynamic conversation is to understand program barriers and successes, as well as how to best serve residents moving forward through COVID-19 recovery.
