Jubek Yongo-Bure is a Project Manager at Develop Detroit, which is a mission-driven real estate development nonprofit that executes housing and revitalization projects throughout Detroit. Operating in key Detroit neighborhoods, Develop Detroit's primary focus is on creating affordable, mixed-income and mixed-use developments that help stabilize and transform neighborhoods. Jubek is passionate about social equity especially as it relates to economic empowerment, both domestically and globally. She engages in real estate, economic, and community development tools that creates place-based solutions for under served communities. Prior to working at Develop Detroit, Jubek worked on food access and diversity initiatives throughout the nation. Jubek holds a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Community Action Social Change.
