“Tax Increment Financing for Housing” is one of the latest and most promising tools in MSHDA’s Toolbox. This session will expand participants basic knowledge of the TIF Program and introduce how to utilize this funding source in a housing deal. Topics covered include selecting eligible properties and defining eligible activities – including the calculation of the housing subsidy. There will be a review of a case study and an opportunity to ask specific questions of MSHDA’s Housing TIF Program staff.
